According to Experts, Night-Time Sleep is the most effective and important for the proper functioning of Brain. Failing to go to bed at the intended time, while no external circumstances prevent a person from doing so is termed as Bed Time Procrastination.

The advanced life style these days enable people to go to bed pretty late. Many of them are unaware of the ill-effects of the lack of proper sleep.

Instead of taking sleep seriously, they tend to spend time watching T.V., Movies, Browsing or spending time on Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Youtube, Foursquare, Shareabloc ), checking Emails, etc,. and are easily distracted.

Some of the disadvantages due to lack of proper sleep can raise the sensation of hunger which indirectly or directly contributes in gaining more weight than one desired.

For a good and proper sleep, one need to avoid the consumption of Alcohol, Tea and Coffee during late nights apart from developing positive mind set towards proper sleep, making necessary changes to the already followed or existing life style, regular exercise to maintain body in good shape, proper sweating and to attain desired fitness, etc, are some of the steps that are advised for to achieve some good results or benefits to enjoy healthy and happy life.

According to studies, too little sleep (6 hours and less ) or too much sleep ( 9 hours and more ) is associated with shorter life span. Generally 7-8 hours of sleep is ideal for individuals of all ages.(excluding children)
