1. Black Beans classified as legumes falls under the category of edible seeds benefit human health in many ways as they are rich in high protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals. In fact, Black Beans are good for heart because they helps in controlling cholesterol and blood sugar levels as it contains nutrients like magnesium, folate and antioxidants, aids in bones strengthening, weight loss.

2. Extra virgin olive oil made from the first press of Olives are  rich in antioxidants called Polyphenols and healthy monounsaturated fats which is good for healthy heart., regular consumption of olive oil helps in decrease of both systolic and diastolic blood pressure.  Consumption of more than four tablespoons of extravirgin olive oil a day can lower the risk of a heart attack, a stroke or heart diseases according to a recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine.  (Also try canola oil and peanut oils).

3. One of the primary food for heart is Salmon Fish which is generally rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and helps in to reduce blood pressure and lower the risk of heart disease; moreover, it is recommended in diet at regular intervals.

4. Walnuts also called as Akhrot, Akroot Kaya, Akrottu, etc in different languages. People love them and they can be extensively used in Chocolates, cookies, Biscuilts and Cookies. Regular consumption of walnuts either raw or roasted, and salted or unsalted proves to be very beneficial to the heart as they are rich in high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids. They aids in reducing the bad cholesterol and encourage the production of the good cholesterol. Apart from the high amounts of antioxidants in walnuts keep immune system healthy. It is quite recommended to add some walnuts to the diet everyday.

5. Include more oranges in diet as it is rich in potassium, cholesterol fighting fiber reduces blood presure, helps in lower the heart disease in women.  Foods rich in Vitamin C like oranges, lemon, mousambi, amla, guava, green leafy vegetables, cabbage, tomatoes and water melon helps in reducing the free radicals that are produced during stress adding to that also helps in cleansing and detoxing the body.

6. Red Wine is good for the heart as it contains powerful antioxidant called resveratrol and also flavonoids that protects the heart from cardiovascular diseases. Also eat flax seeds, avocados, raw nuts, fish oils, colorful fruits and vegetables, egg whites, egg substitutes, nonfat cheeses or yogurt, etc,


7. Include legumes like baked beans, Garlic, soybeans, lentils and tofu in diet., and Avoid packaged foods that are high in sodium.
